I just realised this morning that it's exactly 1 year since I first stepped foot in UK. Time really does fly, doesn't it? I can still vividly remember exactly 1 year ago on this day, I was running around in the city, trying to get my things done without knowing where I'm going.
At the same time this year, I'm glad that I don't have to go through the same madness again but I do sympathise with the newbies, especially those that came alone. Well, I guess that's where I come in: The Friendly Induction Guide!!!
But this Friendly Induction Guide got a present today. The 1st anniversary of her arriving in the UK.

I slipped down the stairs...in the bus...when I was trying to get to the lower tier of the double decker.
Very impressive stunt. Managed to balance myself but still hit my bum on the stairs. All thanks to the "Hero" who stood rooted AT the staircase, not willing to give way when I'm trying to go downstairs.
12 hours after it happened: a blue black mark on my bum...
Bugger!
