I found this on Xiaxue's blog recently and thought I'd just try it out.

Which stands for self-centeredness and inconsideration to others in Japanese. So it's kind of their food philosophy for "Positive Eating + Positive Living", where you put your own will and welfare at a higher priority than anything else.
Well...it's true to a certain extent lar...but...this is not what I wanna write about.

So, yesterday Emily, Joella, Victor and I went to Wagamama in Old Eldon Square (the only one around) for dinner. And I'm glad to say that I have "Wagamama kaki-s" now. There are people who still enjoy the food there.
I'd personally prefer Wagamama to Wokmania, cos Wokmania only serves normal Chinese buffet that is not so Chinese and doesn't taste right in one way or another. Plus, we can easily find better Chinese buffets in Newcastle (and much cheaper too).
Anyway, I like Wagamama not just because of the food but also the atmosphere and the attitude and service of the staff. So friendly and helpful~! 
It's also clean, and not as smoky as most of the Oriental restaurants. And last but not least, I like their desserts! HAHA.
Wild Berry Sorbet and Coconut Reika, my ultimate favorite. Especially Coconut Reika, with coconut flakes and ice-cream. 
Haven't tried the others though. Will do so someday.

We all started tucking in when each of our food came, so engrossed in it that I actually forgot something.
"I forgot to take the picture of what Joella had ordered."
Hmm...one missing picture.
But then again, like Emily said, "Oh no, we have to come here again!" with a surprising sparkle in her eyes. hehe...
Overall, nice but slightly expensive dinner. I still like it though.

An evening walk down to the Quayside brought us to this classy bar called Pitcher & Piano.
Really nice view of the Millennium Bridge and the sunset. Lively environment without being too noisy.
At first wanted to sit outside at the sidewalk benches, but it was too cold. Plus, we wanted to get some bites and so we had to sit inside instead. Not too bad, there were music playing anyway.

As usual, I ordered cafe latte. Nothing beats relaxing and enjoying latte during tea time.
Then Muse decided to try the Merlot after looking through the menu...
Tasted quite good.
It's still the same cup anyway...hehe. Just to pose with it for the sake of the "rich tai tai" effect. HAHA!
It's banana cake and butter cake, 2 different cakes ok...
They looked almost the same, but I SWEAR it's different, coz I used the same tray for the 2 cakes and each of the cakes have almost the same proportion of ingredients.

At some point during baking my housemates actually thought that the butter cake is banana cake coz we kept getting the banana smell in the house. Dunno why, but maybe it's because we've been baking too many banana cakes for the past 2 days and the oven has that lingering smell of bananas. No choice, that's the fastest way to get rid of the bananas on the verge of decomposing. HEHE.
Luckily it still tastes like butter cake though... *whew*
Been really busy recently so didn't update or post anything much...
Anyway, Muse asked us out for dinner in this REALLY nice Greek restaurant today. She's been telling us about this restaurant for quite some time but didn't really have the chance to go yet. So, since we're all home today and kinda tired of cooking for ourselves, decided to give ourselves a break and go out for something new.
The ambience was very nice and quiet. Well, quiet enough but not dead silent lar~! Most importantly, there was practically NO smoke or smell of the cooking and no after-meals stench on our clothes and hair. HEHE...
And as a bonus, we got the table by the window as well.
